    The Project Manager is responsible for the management of assigned project or package in whole or in part (as the case may be).

     

    Responsibilities

    • Project Manager is responsible for the following tasks/activities:
    • Manages and coordinates his/her relevant project package with respect to time, cost and quality
    • Ensures that he/she receives relevant information and documents of the project and transmits the same to the relevant team members as per discipline, division etc.
    • Ensures that design/tender or any other project document is reviewed and response is coordinated and compiled and sent and nothing is outstanding
    • Monitors the progress of the relevant project/package works and informs relevant manager
    • Arranges meetings with various stakeholders and resolves outstanding issues
    • Defines the parameters and standards for the review of documents
    • Ensures that the Client’s requirements are fully translated in to project documents and all requirements are complied
    • Reviews and comments on the content, design, standards, documents, specifications and other project documents related to his/her trade and reports any flaws, ambiguities, mistakes or any missing details in drawing or documents
    • Suggests alternative design proposals if required and cost saving ideas and performs value engineering
    • Performs design or detailing to the extent that it is necessary for the fulfilment of the
    • Client satisfaction and is required by the ADPI management
    • Reviews and comments on the materials and samples (if required)
    • Perform any other job assigned by the ADPI management within framework of his/her contract and skills
    • In the framework of his/her activities, the Project Manager works efficiently to promote quality requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science or Management or equivalent
    • 15 years’ experience minimum on large sized construction projects and minimum 3 airports projects references
    • Experienced in managing and coordinating project tasks
    • Experienced in Project Management and FIDIC contracts
    • Excellent presentation and coordination skills
    • Knowledge of local laws and regulations, and international codes and standards
    • Fluent in English; reading, writing and speaking
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Airport projects knowledge is mandatory, both design and site supervision
